Jewish Journeys

Women on the Move traveled to River's Wish Animal Sanctuary were in awe of the incredible work this non-profit organization does to rescue animals from trauma, abuse and neglect. We strolled through barns, paddocks and fields to see beautiful horses, sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys, rabbits, chickens and turkeys, all with personal names & amazing histories.  Pete, the owner, and himself a jewelry and metallurgical artist, was a wonderful raconteur, and we all felt we could spend a lot more time there hearing his stories.

This organization is having a major fundraiser at The Spokane Club, on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 4-7 pm.  I encourage you all to attend and support them!   https://www.riverswishanimalsanctuary.org/
