The Temple Beth Shalom Library
The Temple Beth Shalom library welcomes you to browse and make use of our collection of over 3,500 books.
- You can access the library during office hours and school hours.
- Members, religious school students, and their families are welcome to use the library.
- Book check outs are for the legth of one month.
- The library uses the Elazar Classification System for Libraries of Judaica, a call-number system like the Dewey Decimal System but based on Jewish thought, concepts, and terminology.
- Young children’s books are grouped by subject—look for the colored dot system posted on the wall in the library.

Jewish Date Converter
The website Hebcal.com has a date converter and other resources. You can see when any date falls in on the Jewish calendar. You can look up birthdays, anniversaries, yahrzeits, and holidays. You can also find the Torah portion for each week in Hebrew and English.
