Four TBS members joined a large crowd of volunteers for Expo ’74 SpoCanopy Tree Planting week.

Together they planted four trees (two 15-foot Oaks and two Golden Lindens) in the Garfield and Emerson neighborhoods to help increase our urban canopy. The day was a great success, and the volunteers were treated to lunch by the Jerusalem Middle Eastern Cuisine food truck, totally by coincidence - delicious! 

A shout out to volunteers Duane Zimmerman, Cathy Reynolds, Judy Silverstein, and Pam Silverstein. They worked hard, represented our Jewish community, and helped our environment! During the entire Spring 2024 SpoCanopy event, a total of 782 trees were planted.

TBS will continue to be a part of Expo 74’s 50^th Anniversary by joining in Interfaith Expo week featuring a presentation and panel with TBS representation. Check the bulletin for details!
