This is for all of you who are setting up your 2024 calendar with outstanding, interesting, and fun events. This one is perfect for anyone who loves movies from around the world.
Spokane Area Jewish Family Services is excited to present Spokane Jewish Film Festival 2024, which opens Jan. 27 with additional in-person screenings Jan. 28 and Feb. 3-4. This year is very special, as it’s the festival’s 20th anniversary. The Opening Night Gala will be held at the beautiful Montvale Event Center and will include a reception catered by FEAST World Kitchen, an incredible silent auction featuring more than 30 items to bid on, and a screening of the fabulous new film Remembering Gene Wilder. It will be an evening of schmoozing, laughter, and great entertainment. The cost is a mere $30 to participate and enjoy. What a fabulous way to start off the new year!
SJFF 2024 will also offer insightful, humorous, and thought-provoking movies that are available to view online Jan 28-Feb. 8. After the Gala, in-person screenings will occur at Gonzaga University’s Jepson Center. Tickets for in-person or online screenings can be purchased at sjff2024.eventive.org. Cinephiles may choose to attend just the Gala or the Gala and any number of in-person and online screenings. This offers the opportunity to decide what works best for your lifestyle and budget. We are also offering a special retrospective that highlights some of the best films the festival has screened during the last two decades. We believe this year’s film festival is the biggest and best we’ve ever organized!
Spokane Area Jewish Family Services enhances the lives of our local Jewish community and helps people in need throughout our region. The proceeds from the film festival enable SAJFS to do even more. It’s a win/win for everyone! We hope to see you Jan. 27 at our Gala! Festivities begin at 6 p.m. For more information and to buy tickets, visit us at sjff2024.eventive.org.
