TBS Women's book Club
We meet monthly at 10;30am in the Schmooze Cafe. Come get your coffee at Schmooze Cafe at 10am and then be ready for the discussion at 10:30am.
It you're a woman, love to read, like to discuss what is read, and want a venue for doing so, this is the place for you! We will explore books that contain themes that touch on our identity as Jews, women, and Jewish women. The club will meet once per month on Sunday mornings, and we will take turns choosing books for the club. The first selection is “The Cookbook Collector,” by prize-winning novelist Allegra Goodman. “The Cookbook Collector” is the story of two sisters leading very different lives during the hey-day of the dot.com bubble, and their relationships to their families and their background.
