Five reasons why Temple Beth Shalom should be your Shul
1. Your Rabbi
Rabbi Michael Goldstein is a widely respected Conservative Rabbi. “My vision is of synagogue communities whose members sustain one another in time of need, celebrate together in time of joy, and maintain an open door in welcoming all to enter.” As a member of Temple Beth Shalom, Rabbi Goldstein will be your personal Rabbi.
2. Your Children
Your children are your future. Temple Beth Shalom is your partner in providing a nurturing Jewish environment for your children. Your youngest children will participate in Tot Shabbats. Your elementary aged children will participate in junior congregation. Your older children will be engaged with the Jewish community which will strengthen and maintain their Jewish identity. Your children are welcome at our Youth Group options. Your children will be eligible to participate in amazing camp opportunities. Temple Beth Shalom will not only be your Shul - it will be your children's Shul.
3. Your Community
Our Shul community consists of various types of families, including a strong concentration of families with school-aged children. We not only pray together, but we also share meals, Simchas (happy occasions), and we generally include our children in all events. Temple Beth Shalom is an open Shul, well known for its down-to-earth warmth and spirit. Religious observance among the members varies greatly. Everyone is treated and respected equally. When you walk through the Shul door, you are accorded the same respect as anyone else.
4. Your Simchas
Some of the highlights of your life are the Simchas - the happy occasions - of your family. Temple Beth Shalom will be there to help make your celebrations honorable and enjoyable - celebrations that you will cherish forever. Our beautiful social hall can accommodate your guests. Our dignified Shul facility and our Rabbi will be there for your Simchas.
